Counseling is provided by two counselors with master's degrees in social work, psychology or related areas of study who are licensed/
registred in Washington state. The counselors offer a variety of awareness, intervention and support services addressing issues of emotional well-being. Students may wish to consult with a counselor about various issues including crisis, study difficulties, relationships, substance use/abuse, eating disorders, self-esteem, depression, fear, anger, stress and time management. The counselors also provide information and referrals to community resources for a variety of services including doctors, dentists, counseling, housing and financial resources. Counseling services are provided in a variety of modes including one-to-one meetings, support groups and workshops.
Academic advising is provided by the Education Services Department and Academic Directors.
