Bras for the Cause

For the past several years, as part of a public awareness campaign organized by City of Hope, a non-profit research hospital, and The Art Institute of Seattle, students, staff and faculty decorate bras for breast cancer survivors and those who have battled the disease.

The bras are unveiled at a special reception in the fall as part of a kick-off to the City of Hope's "Walk for the Cure" in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The 2006 Bras for the Cause Reception was held in September at Hotel Monaco.
